URL encoding (also known as "percent encoding" is a method of converting text so it only uses the basic (ASCII) character set. So, for example, สวัสดี would be converted to %E0%B8%AA%E0%B8%A7%E0%B8%B1%E0%B8%AA%E0%B8%94%E0%B8%B5. Decoding is the reverse process, taking the encoded text back to its original form. This web application allows you to URL encode and decode text.

I wrote this because the form I use for feedback only supports the ASCII character set. I therefore have to encode any feedback before it's emailed to me. I then use this app to recover the feedback in its original form by decoding.
