About

This web application allows you to practice identifying the tone of Thai single syllable words.

How to Use

Select a level from the menu. Then, for each word shown, select its tone using the five tone buttons.

When a level is completed all the words will be shown, along with your response and the correct one. Also shown is the time taken.

On this page you can click on any Thai word to see a definition. (Opens in a new tab.)

If you complete a level with all responses correct, a gold star will appear next to that level on the menu page.

When you repeat a level a new, random selection of words is used.
